In honor of Pride Month, this week, Drewby and Yergy take a trip to Nebraska to discuss the 1993 killing of Brandon Teena, a young transman and subject of the 1999 film “Boys Don’t Cry,” and mother Lisa Lambert, and Philip DeVine, a 22 year old black man that was completely erased from the movie. In addition, we discuss how the film didn’t age well to the point of being considered transphobic by some folks.
