The Case of Cassidy Rainwater

This week, Drewby and Yergy head to the Ozarks to discuss the horrific story of Cassidy Rainwater, a young mother from rural Missouri who went missing during the summer of 2021 after staying with James Phelps, who was allegedly trying to help her get back on her feet. Cassidy’s case could have gone cold if it weren’t for an anonymous tipster who alerted the FBI to the horrors that were taking place at the Phelps cabin after discovering distressing images of Cassidy on the dark web. What happened next, including kidnapping, murder, arson, and possible cannibalism, was something straight from a horror film.
